Veronese, Marco There is a moment...

Description
There is a moment then fishermen and fish become each others slave and nobady knows how long....
A fisherman’s life is connected to the fish’s surrender, and the fish’s life depends on the fisherman’s surrender. Although these two extremes are different, the tension between them is the metaphor of our existence. The scene represented here is mirrored and reversed to give the idea of rotation, and therefore of continuity. The fish form the symbol of Ying and Yang, and their heart is the same size as the heart of the fishermen who they are tied to by a red line.
